Sahil Vaid, who performs Sunny in the Captain Vikram Batra biopic, shared his full assertion with India.com and the way completely satisfied he’s to be part of such an enormous movie. Sahil Vaid says, ‘My assertion was that I have a really small function in the movie. When I was instructed that my character in the movie is that of Vikram Batra’s buddy. I wished to play the function of a soldier, not a buddy in the movie. I actually wished to do that movie as a result of I come from a military household. I wished to play the function of a soldier in this movie so that I would get to behave in the movie. But I never said that I regret doing Sher Shah. This was not my assertion.
‘I did not need to play a buddy however a soldier in the movie’
When Sahil was requested how he received this movie, the actor says, “I got a call. Then I auditioned for this character. The director chose me for the role of Sunny, but I wanted to play a soldier in the film. Then the director said, ‘This is not a part of an actor’s friend. We want you to play the role of an actor’s friend in the film. Because a new turn comes in the life of Vikram Batra because of his friend. And then Vikram Batra makes his career in the Indian Army from the Merchant Navy.
‘The people of Dharma Production got sad’
Sahil Vaid said, ‘At present he is enjoying the success of Sher Shah. The people of Dharma Productions must have been saddened by this ‘regret’ statement. I got calls, people were asking me ‘why did you say that?’ And I have been cleaning since morning. At the end of the conversation, Sahil says look at my Instagram page, seeing it out of nowhere it seems that I am not satisfied with my role. I loved being a part of ‘Sher Shah’ from the beginning. Yes, I am a greedy actor, I want to do all kinds of characters, but it is not possible. I am very happy for what I did, because this film will be remembered for ages. I feel extremely honored to be a part of the film. The film Shershaah is directed by Vishnu Vardhan. The film ‘Shershaah’ also stars Shiv Pandit, Himanshu Malhotra and Nikitin Dheer.
